This gives you lots of freedom and opportunity to do work that would not normally be part of your job description, giving you the opportunity to grow and build your skills, but can also give you a headache. The pay does not always match the responsibility.

Very low salary does not match knowledge and amount of money one brings to the company with sales skills, not a typical get your foot in the door and advance within the company that only if you have a PhD you will grow.
