Pros

14/hr pay, OT when available, Some people there are genuinely decent, cafeteria.

Cons

Everything! Smh, I really thought this would be a good company.... Boy was I wrong. When I initially got hired I was happy they paid 14/hr (13/hr during 5 week training) and my trainer for the ecr (executive customer relations) dept was very nice. But, I should've knew there was an issue when I noticed how lackluster the training was. I moved out to sc from ny and I've worked call center jobs for about 7 yrs. So I kind of knew what to expect in a sense. Then this is one of the higher paying jobs out here so I figured I lucked up. No. The whole management hierarchy is a mess. Try play favoritism and their turn over rate is ridiculous! I have spoken to people who've been there long enough to vouch they will pretty much go through a "clean up period ". Out with the old in with the new if you will. Their process constantly changes like the weather and they don't adhere to their follow ups or procedures thus o reworking the agents with last minute changes because of high numbers of pissed customers calling. I could go on and on.... Words of caution, unless this is a temp job to better, JUST DONT.

Pros

You're indoors out from the heat and cold and its full time.

Cons

Computers are in dire need to being replaced. Constantly coming into work playing musical chairs finding one that will work. Managers are corrupt. Customers are full of it and are all "entitled". Training is poor, you get 5 weeks of class room training that amounts to nothing. 7 weeks of "nesting" which honestly stresses you out even more because you're not prepared to take and assist customers. They need to reduce the amount of people per class, so that we can thoroughly go through materials. Pay is crap for the amount of work we have to do. Overall I only accepted this job because it was the only job that would take me when I was desperately in need of money. Trust me when I say if and when I get another opportunity to get another job, I am not giving them my two weeks. I'm quitting the dame day.

Pros

Good for fresh out of college but know your exist plan.

Cons

When you walk into the workplace, look around you. Chances are that they're all trying to leave and will be gone in less than 3-6 months. You'll be the most senior person. Does it mean you have more opportunity? Not exactly. You'll get more workload but don't expect anything. In fact, you'll have a laptop and have a chance to work from home in the evening and at night. You'll be on the conference calls where management whine about how they didn't get their 40% bonus but here you are, not even getting a penny more. Also, management will ignore your existence and they'll have their own get-together or after hour events, oh and management i meant is directors and up. If you're even a sr. manager, you'll be lumped in as bottom feeders. The pay is horrible, the benefits are almost non-existence. Note that what you get on the first day of your hire is probably what you'll make for the next 4-5 years. You think you can prove yourself and become a manager or a director? Think again. Alorica loves to hire outside people with no understanding of anything. Again, think of your exist plan as soon as you walk in.
