Pros

Co workers will be the only thing you will like

Cons

These people will lie directly in your face especially human resources. Never use their open door policies to complain about NOTHING. They close down sothern link and didn't give their employees no warning. They are an at will employment and they uses it to do horrible things to their employees. I wish i could tell you more but it will hinder my case. I wosh i could give them monus 10 stars for every employee they harmed . You havebto keep transferring to stay employed

Pros

Easy job if you're technically inclined and able to handle snarky customers, very clear instructions for everything. Would be a great job for a robot or someone else who never gets sick or has anything happen to them at all.

Cons

After completing 3 of my 4 weeks of training, I contracted the flu, likely from a member of my training cohort who came to work sick to avoid getting fired. I likewise tried to stick it out, but found that I couldn't do it as I was losing my voice and unable to concentrate, which just does not work for a call center. I went to the doctor and found that I not only had the flu but pneumonia. After missing just over a day of work and bringing a doctor's note, I was asked to "resign and reapply", which I did. My partner later explained to me that this most often means you're getting fired, but without the chance to apply for unemployment. Regardless I went back and completed the entire application process over again, including the initial screening and technology test which I had passed just a month ago. The whole process took several weeks. I was not rehired. During training I consistently had among the highest scores in the training class, completed extra training modules, and had not missed a minute of work until getting sick.

Pros

None... They ghosted me... Not professional

Cons

Was completely hired. Jumped through all the hoops.. Interview, paperwork, BG check. Was told I'd be contacted the next day to set up training, but never was.. Was given instructions to log into my employee account, but it never worked. The help desk (India) told me my account was never created. That was a month ago. I've emailed, called, left voicemail... No response. I quit my other job for nothing, and been a month with no income because of this sorry company. They even seem to contract out their own help desk to India!!! A call center company who doesn't use their own call center?! Tells you all you need to know. Planning to sue for lost wages. You can't just affect peoples lives that way
