Some employees feel work life balance may be out of balance at times and the company works hard to be sure all of its managers make this a priority for all employees. Sometimes project deadlines make this a difficult thing to accomplish but flexibility in where and how people work makes up the difference.

Small project budgets; managers want to provide extras for clients within these tiny budgets (and if employees need to complete these tasks while not billing to any project then so be it); employees are expected to bring in a certain amount of project work every year and to remain highly billable at the same time (meaning lots of extra, unbillable hours); employees can be expected to be available all days/hours via email, text, cell phone; salaries on the low end; principals don't prioritize face-to-face contact among employees at geographically separated offices.
