The most demoralizing and abusive job in my career

Pros

WFH is the only one I can think of.

Cons

-Harris has 10 values they cram down your throat. They claim “respect of the individual” is their most important value. This is lip service. They only lean on this “value” when it’s convenient for them. Marcus prefers to publicly humiliate, cuss at, berate, and “make an example” of people in order to “get people in line” (direct quote). He treats employees as if they’re soldiers and is constantly talking about his time in the military, Christianity, and basketball. -Employees are vastly underpaid and somehow brainwashed into thinking that that’s okay because the company is “stable” despite many rounds of layoffs since this Takeover. If you get a 2% increase at review time, consider yourself lucky, most people get 0. CSI/Harris/Altera tout their stock price rising on town halls yet, employees do not receive good increases. Better to have an underpaid job than no job I guess. -Marcus talks about people’s salaries and said “we aren’t getting the productivity from them [the employees]” and he “wants to line them up and k*ll them.” Also a direct quote said in front of Harris and Altera leadership. -You are expected to work far beyond the typical full time hours per week. If you bring this up, you are guilted to believe you aren’t a team player. -If you’re lucky enough to be included in the bonus pool (vs the Allscripts days), half of your bonus is forced into company stock- no wonder the stock is so high! CSI holds your money hostage for years. They also hold onto your retirement match for months after the new year. In fact, we just got an email that they are continuing to hold it for another month! - I have never been thrown under the bus (by my manager) more than I have here. The only reason I’ve stayed is because I’m retiring soon.

Treated like garbage

Pros

They paid industry rates, nothing more. Very easy hiring process(which is a red flag)

Cons

Hired by a recruiter who lied to me about the job and company culture. My boss was a tyrant who discriminated against me for having a disability and voicing my opinion. Illegally was not allowed a lunch break, expected to sit at my desk for 8 hours straight, work weekends for no extra pay. I had to quit because this position RUINED my mental health.

Pros

Honestly the only pros are if you’re on the northwell account. You basically are a northwell employee but without any of the northwell benefits.

Cons

No or low raises for 3 years outside of promotions, the 401k is 3% but that’s deposited once a year as a “bonus” and if you leave any time before that you lose out on it an any match. The vacation time is not great. 30 days after 5 years of employment. No sick time. Stock options aren’t there. We lost that when the company was sold. Upper management is not good. The ceo goes on long winded rants and stories that go no where, then sends out emails where there is always bad news buried somewhere in there. The last one that went out shared that we weren’t getting raises this year (again). The company
