Pros

Zynex offers complimentary breakfast and lunches for their corporate employees.

Cons

Lies. "ZELT", The executive team will continuously tell their upper management to lie to their teams about policies and upcoming changes. These executives DO NOT care about their employees and will make any small change to ensure company profit regardless of who the changes may impact. If you apply for any internal position, there's a solid chance they will not give you an interview for the position and they will lie to you about another candidate being chosen over you, and then repost the position a week later.

We don't know where this individual experienced these issues or why they felt the need to post something that couldn't be further from the truth. While no employer can be all things to all people, the entire management team at Zynex cares deeply about our employees and their experience working here. We've asked Glassdoor to remove this post.

Unethical Billing Practices and Micromanagement

Pros

Decent benefits and wage if you have no prior experience.

Cons

- Unethical Billing Practices - This company skirts as close to they can to committing fraud without crossing the line (and they may also cross the line). Depending on the patient's insurance they will ship and bill as much as possible. They will even start shipping more supplies without a request if they are approaching the end of the month and aren't near their goal. I could go on for pages about how gross their billing practices are. - Micromanagement - Working there you will get daily benchmarks to meet, however, even if you meet and exceed them you'll still get chewed out for things like taking too many bathroom breaks or other short breaks throughout the day. - They have incredibly high turnover. I think within two months of me starting I saw 5 people leave, and those were only people that had desks near mine. If you're curious about how unethical and shady this place is you can review the lawsuit filed against them in 2010 for securities fraud. I don't know if the executives are dumb enough to be doing the same thing they were sued for, but just from seeing their billing practices every day I would not be surprised. Also, I got some uncomfortable feelings towards the way it seemed certain female employees were treated, but I can not speak personally on that as nothing happened to me.

Pros

There are no pros to report at this time.

Cons

This company should be the laughing stock of the DME industry. Their claim to be 'fighting the opioid epidemic' is a nice cover for their unethical way of doing business. The company has found a way to scam insurance companies out of a ridiculous amount of monies using TENS units and batteries! While real DME companies are actually making real innovations in the name of science and health, this company is a bottom feeder in the health and insurance community. As far as a place to work this place is the worst! Absolutely no work life balance. They have placed clueless pawns in supervisor positions as barriers to the CEO and other executives, so that they don't have to answer the difficult questions to their corrupt practices. You will be used and threatened if you do not fall in line. Don't ask questions b/c you will either get fired for probing, or your superior will be too incompetent to know the answer. If you are reading this and can follow, you are likely way overqualified and deserve to work for a better company.

We appreciate the time you have taken to write a review of Zynex. Your review of your time with us contains many statements that are alarming. Our hopes are that employees approach their supervisors if they ever need support or clarification of procedures/practices. There are many occasions that employees wait to voice any concerns until after they have left the company, which does not allow for us to explain the “why.” We want all employees to understand that the management team at Zynex wants to support our employees and want to see all employees feel comfortable coming to them with any questions or concerns. Our mission and vision drives us to do what’s best by our patients, but we also want to be sure our employees are feeling supported. With the quick growth Zynex is going through, there are occasions that things fall through the cracks, but we are working towards filling those cracks with answers. We hope that we can build a stronger company that will not only help our patients in need, but also support the desires and wishes of our employees. We thank you for your honest opinions, as we can only improve from feedback given. Thank you for the time you committed to serving our patients, we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
