Pros

You can come in when you want.

Cons

I have never worked at such a negative, soul sucking place before. Many prior reviews bring up the negatives and the only response is that you should have brought this up or have spoken with your supervisor. That's part of the issue! There are many individuals who have NO business being in a supervisor role: some hide out in the bathroom most of the day while others completely ignore their team and contribute nothing to their success. When negatives or areas of improvement are brought up you're given nothing but excuse after excuse as to why things are perfect as is. This company doesn't give timely reviews, raises are nearly non existent unless you're one of the lucky few. Don't get me started on the weather policy - Zynex doesn't close so plan accordingly (like this year's bomb cyclone, didn't close for that even though most non-essential businesses closed. Money is WAY more important than employee safety). Billing practices are a scam. There's a reason they're pushing orders so hard, they know it's only a matter of time before the rest of their insurance carries start changing regulations to stop them from such aggressive billing. The money being brought in is thanks to the excessive supplies being sent to patients, what happens when supplies dry up for good? Save yourself the time and energy, go elsewhere for employment. There are so many jobs out there that will treat you with decency and respect.

We appreciate you taking time to share your thoughts. Though your review has a number of inaccuracies (including the comment that you can come in when you want), debating is not useful. So instead we’d like to take the opportunity to share a few truths about Zynex to those who are interested in our Company. We are growing fast. In fact, we are one of the fasted growing company in Colorado currently. Right now, we are keenly focused on recruiting individuals with a high level of professionalism, maturity, and reliability, as well as people who consistently show compassion for our patients. It is true and we take pride in the fact that we do not “close” our business during inclement weather. Our patients matter and we are dedicated to being available to patients across the country when they have a pain management need or question about their account. We allow our employees to make personal decisions about their safety/ability to get to work every day, not just when there is bad weather. And yes, we definitely “push” our Sales Reps who are out in the field. Our expectation is that they spend every day building relationships with doctors who can get our devices, which are opioid--free alternatives to pain, into the hands of as many patients as possible. We care deeply about fighting the opioid crisis. We will continue to ensure our patients know we are available for them and have the supplies they need to treat regularly/daily (so they use fewer opioids). We are making a difference. It appears that our mission, vision and values were not a good fit for you and we certainly wish you the best in your future work endeavors.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate receiving your feedback as all comments received are an opportunity to create positive changes. It is unfortunate to see negative comments, but we do understand that, at times, when an employee is unable to meet basic expectations (i.e., clocking time accurately, providing good customer service, providing timely follow up with customers, etc.) a way to address one's frustration after leaving is to post a negative review. We believe there are times when parting ways is best for both employee and employer. We find that as our managers/supervisors set clearer expectations and provide feedback on the quality of work produced, employees may feel stress because they are held accountable to meet expectations as well as goals. We are also aware that these employees may not be part of Zynex’s future as we continue to expand and recognize that parting ways can be best for both parties. It’s true that we did have a few recent management changes. For many, these have been positive, as we recently promoted 3 individuals in the Billing Department to Supervisor positions. There is always room to grow at a growing company! We do wish that the coaching and support offered would have remedied the performance issues encountered during employment. Despite our best attempts, the decision to leave may have been best. We do wish you the best in your career change.

Pros

They will hire whoever for this sales job - so if you need something to open doors to better opportunities - do this for a year or two and get out when you can.

Cons

Beware of the 5 star ratings from territory managers. When they have staff out to the corporate office, they tell you that if you show proof of giving them a 5 star rating on here, they will give you a free Nike Zynex pullover. This is how they drown out the bad reviews. This company has terrible billing processes. This makes current prescribers mad, and it’s beyond your control. Another issue is they have a call center in a different country, so when zynex calls patients to ship them their device, the patient can’t understand what they are saying on the phone, so they don’t understand the way it works with their insurance and billing. Patients then complain to their physicians, either about the non-English speaking people who called them, or about their huge bill they received several months later for the device and supplies. This makes prescribers mad, and they don’t want to prescribe anymore. Zynex tells you to then go find new business. All while raising your quota every month, regardless of the fact that you’ve communicated that you’ve lost your best prescribers. It has nothing to do with the territory managers, although management will point fingers that way. The other thing - you have a $1500 reimbursed budget a month to use towards lunches and gas milage, which is NOT enough to cover everything. I ended up paying my gas milage out of pocket, and even some of my lunches out of pocket just to keep my business going. If you have a lunch for 20 ppl - that’s $250 right there. And they want you to be doing 3-4 lunches a week….and also see 12-15 clinics minimum a day. My budget was hit by the middle of the month every month. Also, insurance cost is super high. I was paying $650 a pay period for my families insurance.
