Pros

You get to play with food in a nice environment with others who love food. It looks good on resumes and is a good stepping stone to get somewhere in a food career. If you have a family it allows for good work life balance with almost no overtime required.

Cons

Lack of a career path to grow within the company. Many manager have been with the company since the beginning and are very poor managers. Becomes very repetitive where nothing including the recipes and stories every change.
