Don’t take the job

Pros

None, this company is a horrible place to work.

Cons

everything about this place is bad. The pay is horrible the calls are nonstop and you have PROVIDERS yelling at you. The training for the job is three months but you leave training completely lost. Their system is so screwed up that you can’t find anything on it. You have providers calling to check claim status on at least five patients and they expect you to keep the call under 7 minutes. You’re expected to document your call in a minute and 30 seconds with a two minutes hold time. You can always call the assist line for help but when you do the person either yells at you are breaths hard cause you’re calling for assistance. It’s a horrible company and honestly after working there I still don’t full understand the purpose of the company. The trainer I had is a complete know it all she was also a bit flaky. Don’t accept the job from this company.

We’re sorry to hear that your role with us did not meet your expectations. ASH customer service representatives go through an extensive training program designed to teach key information, applications, processes, and customer service skills. Our goal is to train employees in how to use ASH resources to find the answers they need to support our members and providers. Regarding compensation, we stay competitive in the job market by analyzing salary trends, offering a call center bonus program, and providing annual merit increases. ASH also welcomes employee feedback and maintains a workgroup that reviews all suggestions for process improvement. Thank you for your service to ASH and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
