Pros

1- The intent of the people within the department are strong 2- The base salary is competitive but the budget is unattainable 3- The employee's want to be engaged- which is key to growth and purpose

Cons

1- The leadership door is revolving and that says a lot about the company directive- Referring to EHN 2- The people within thrive for direction and investment within the division - but it is not apparent

Pros

I worked at EHN and found this business unit to be lacking a clear focus and long term vision. Their competitors are eating their lunch, so the day-to-day working experience is solely focused on attaining new leads and customers, not actually fixing what is broken systemically with their outdated business model. There are some good people who genuinely work hard to make things happen, however, the real problem is lack of strategic vision to evolve the organization into what it must be in order to deliver on its promises to an ever-dwindling member base. This short-sightedness comes straight from the top: its CEO and parent company, who financially constrain this business unit with zero resources to implement anything beyond cheap, short-term fixes, with minimal lasting impact. Their pay is below market rates, making it hard for them to recruit when turn-over inevitably happens. Positions go unfilled for months at a time, making for a tough work environment for those remaining there left to pick up the slack. Given this pattern of management-level churn, now going on several years in a row, I would not expect this to change any time soon. There is no one to blame but the CEO and Amplifon Corporate -- who simply do not seem to know what to do about it -- or even care.

Cons

Lack of resources Lack of vision Employee turn-over Below-market pay

Pros

This is my first week at Amplifon and the onboarding process has been one of the best I have experienced in my career. They put a lot of thought into the process and the welcome has exceeded my expectations. I can't wait for week 2!

Cons

Nothing so far and I am looking forward to moving to our new location in Downtown Minneapolis!

How rewarding it is to read such positive feedback...! THANK YOU! As the CEO of AMPLIFON AMERICAS I am super happy to hear this; especially, as we continue to hire as we grow and, especially, as the 'onboarding process' in the past has been subject to criticism and - having listened to that feedback - has been redesigned by our HR team to make for a better experience in terms of 'what' we do and 'how' we do it. Effective onboarding is a critical component in setting new members, like you, up for success and, hence, we owe it to you. We succeed as a team, if you succeed in your individual role. Please let me know your experience after 1 month (if you want!); my office door is always open... (and, yes, even in our awesome new offices downtown ;-)!!)
