Pros

The benefits are great. Whether it be health, dental, vision or 401K contributions they do help the employee offset some costs, as well as distribute funds to employee retirements based on the company performance.

Cons

Calibration does not promote teamwork. There may have been a need of such a performance method the first year or two of the role out, but now it is hurting moral and self worth.

Pros

Best reasons to work here, well there's a lot of them as long as you're not working customer service. Pay is pretty great, people are friendly, company store is awesome, there's a gym and access to leadership.

Cons

Working customer service there are several issues. Training has become very poor and no longer prepares new CSRs for the floor, Shift away from a focus on pleasing the customer and more towards a very strict metrics system and script that sounds completely silly and probably cost them an insane amount of money to have someone write for them. High turnover among Manpower staff (see : poor training). Most supervisors are great, mine was excellent, but be prepared for the awful ones to advance.

What was once a wonderful company culture is being eroded day by day

Pros

Outstanding salary and benefits. Good work-life balance.

Cons

Upper management and organizational structure cycles about every five years. If you're looking for long term employment, be prepared to fear for your job about every five years, as well. Too many managers, directors, and VPs with input on every little thing - often late in the game; no one is on the same page. No empowerment for middle and frontline management and no communication to them from upper management. A wonderful company culture is being erroded day by day.
