Pros

We work from home currently.

Cons

No Yearly raises - EVER I have worked here for 5 years and not a single raise given. Jobs are now being outsourced and we are training our replacements. Long term management were laid off, so much for loyalty. Goals are changing to be a lot more difficult so they can fire us without a severance package. Goals are unattainable now unless the employees cheat the metrics. It’s going to get worse. Our stock is worthless. Since it went to Angi Leads, it’s been a joke.

Thank you for your feedback and I understand your frustration. I'd like to address each of your concerns. Organizational changes are difficult and we don't make them without considerable thought and deliberation. The most recent changes were especially tough. We have outsourced a portion of our work, but our model remains the same - the more complex, intricate tasks are handled internally. Regarding pay, I'm not sure what specific team you are on, but in most cases, advisors have the ability to make very good wages if they perform at a high level. Additionally, all of our goals are meant to stretch our teams, but currently, regardless of the team, nearly 100% of advisors are meeting their goals. When we challenge ourselves to do great things individually, we see great results. Last, but certainly not least, Angi is entering a new era and some very positive changes are underway. If you haven't experienced them yet, I think you will soon. Thanks again for your feedback. We hope this response provides a sense of clarity around your concerns. If you would like to discuss more, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Matt Zurcher, SVP Ops

Pros

The training is amazing- like top tier.

Cons

Everything else. The attendance policy is a joke. Most tech companies pto starts on day 1. This company gives like .20 hours for every week worked or something insane like that. You are micromanaged like crazy. The LEADS- Omgggg the leads are SO BADLY RECYCLED. Like I’ve touched accounts that have been cycled through at least 15 times to different reps and those reps have called them countless times as well. Imagine how excited the customer is to hear from us when they have said to remove them from the list or to stop calling. The reputation this company has with its target market (contractors) is trash. Contractors literally hate this company. Used to be Homeadvisor, then it was Angi’s list. Wonder why they keep changing names? Because the reputation is so bad, 98% of the contractor I called- stated specifically “we do not do business with Angi or homeadvisor”. There is absolutely no way you can be successful here in sales because all the good leads go to those with tenure. I’ve also been sexually harassed on the phones 3 times by angry contractors and that was kinda swept under the rug. The turnover rate explains what’s happening in the company, they mass hire every 4 weeks. When I say mass hire, in my hiring class there were over 100 of us. Look on LinkedIn and see how many people announce daily they were hired for a sales role here. The wheel just keeps churning. Oh and the oh is so bad, you you’ll make it up in commissions but you won’t because again trash leads. Don’t do what I did and ignore these bad reviews. Save yourself the time and the headache.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your honesty and candor and use feedback to improve our policies and culture. We're happy to hear you found value in our new hire training program. We pride ourselves on setting new employees up for success by ensuring they have the tools needed to be effective in their position. It sounds like we hit the mark there! You touched on several other topics in your post and we want to respond to some of them. With regard to leads provided to sales representatives, we score and rest them in order to maximize results. We also allocate them fairly based on our scoring algorithm. We know Sales is a challenging position and requires a lot of tenacity and grit. As much as we try to optimize the leads distribution, we know that not all calls will materialize into a sale. We take all accusations of sexual harassment seriously. If you don't believe your experience was handled appropriately by your manager, please reach out to your HR Business Partner. Again, we appreciate your feedback and wish you the very best both here at Angi and in your future endeavors.
