Pros

-Company really did a good job over the years to create a team culture and the place was full of great people. -Over time they promoted from within and people that had no external experience were put in roles that were too big for them - Management training was very strong over the years and then tailed off last few years - There were serious times that you would do anything to make the company successful because so many people cared. It help build a very large company.

Cons

- Below average pay (base pay flat with little to no chance of raises) - Poor comp plans and no real transparency as to the impact to the company - Payroll and reporting inconsistent leading in improper commissions and distrust in justifications. - The company seems to be really struggling keeping talent in the positions that get you paid and the proper information to do your job effectively.

Thanks for your honest feedback. Angi has experienced a lot of organizational change over the past few years and we've weathered the storm with grace and integrity. We know our people are a huge asset which is why we offer competitive benefits and compensation plans to reward strong performance. Hybrid and remote work presents a challenge for a lot of Angi teammates - we know that working from a home office has a different energy and vibe than working in a bustling central office. Team leads do their best to maintain a strong sense of community despite working remotely throughout the country. We hope you felt empowered to make suggestions about the culture and the compensation plans while you were employed at Angi. Our HR team, in particular, is always open to feedback. Best of luck in your next venture!

Pros

Uncapped commission - if you want to work, managers want to help you. Good benefits.

Cons

Quotas and goals. Depsite having the tools, landing sales is still difficult. No commission until after two sales per week. Some people are great at this. Some people are not.

Thanks for your feedback - you're completely right, some people succeed in a fast-paced, challenging sales environment while others don't. We understand both sides and do our best to support those who've found the right role and those who are better suited for a different type of position. We have a rigorous training cycle for new hires that helps set people up for success without shielding the reality of the sales cycle. We know it takes grit to be successful in sales and hope you can transition your skillset well to your next role.

Eh it’s a job

Pros

-Base salary plus commission -Good benefits -Hour lunch -Easy metrics to reach

Cons

During the first 2 weeks of training, it’s great. The trainers are helpful and supportive. Once you get to your team, it’s stressful, and the environment is awful. The managers have a frat type vibe (and not in the fun way). They’ll play your failed calls in a region-wide zoom call. They’ll publicly humiliate newbies. You’re in a zoom call all day, getting shuffled around and watched constantly. You cannot mute yourself so everyone hears whatever is going on. I log all my calls in a spreadsheet; I get 150 no answers a day. It’s tough, but as long as you can do phone sales, you’ll meet metrics. The product is impossible to sell. It’s selling a dream to grown adults who know better. It’s decent enough. I don’t mind calling a million contractors. I like that there is a base salary. It’s enough to keep me doing fine. Just know what you’re getting into

Thank you for your review and feedback. We pride ourselves on offering competitive benefits and salary and believe these two factors, among other things, contribute to a satisfying work environment and culture. We're happy to hear you recognize this as a positive aspect of working at Angi. We don't tolerate any type of bullying or public humiliation in any form, however. If you feel like you're being mistreated in the workplace, please reach out to your manager or to our SVP of HR directly to file a complaint. We take matters around harrassment very seriously and will address your concerns directly.
