Pros

I am coming up on my third year with Aperion Management Group. I started in this company as a Marketing Intern and have since been internally promoted to Project Manager. Aperion recognizes and rewards willingness to learn, talent and initiative. If you're putting in the effort, they notice. Senior management does an excellent job of recognizing individual progress and successes. They're also willing to discuss your career progress and if it's heading in the right direction for you. This isn't a company that hires outside themselves if there's an opportunity to promote internally. If you're not to the level of experience you need for an open position, but have shown the qualities needed - they will figure out a way for you to get there. The culture Aperion has founded here is one of being a team (no, it's not the "we're a family here" gimmick), but that everyone has each other’s back. If a mistake is made, it is a learning opportunity for all. If a success is made, everyone who made it happen is recognized. They are a forward thinking company that realizes negative connotations and reactions to failures are not constructive to improvement, but are learning opportunities to be capitalized on. As for culture, there are jokes firing off in the company wide group chat, stories being told, memes being shared, as well as a steady stream of questions that are met with prompt answers, all as I write this. The owners and senior management have open door policies, are willing to listen and implement feedback and are your educators as much as they are your managers. Employee driven innovation is a very real reality here, if there’s a better way to do things in your job, they’ll listen. If there’s a pain-point in your job, they’ll work with you to find a solution. Lastly, the company does one thing perhaps better than anything else they do – and that’s having fun! Parties, marshmallow baseball, funny monthly interviews with employees, piñatas, birthdays, internal awards, pranks, team gathering days off, appreciation donut days, you name it – they’ve done it. I am fortunate to have gotten my internship with them years ago. They have opened up doors in my career path that I realize many other companies would not have.

Cons

The reality of this industry is that it’s fast paced. No matter how many resources you have, or people you can rely on – you will need to work hard some days.

Pros

Aperion places high values on work-life flexibility, which is nearly impossible to find in this industry. There are awesome coworkers and leaders who are engaged in the local community through charity and many other ways. Aperion is picky about which clients to serve so clients and the company share the same vision and values. The company supports its employees on professional and personal levels. It's a bonus to be located in beautiful Bend, Oregon!

Cons

It's a smaller company so it's not ideal for someone looking to move up the chain quickly, but there is room for advancement over time as the company grows.

Pros

You've heard people say, "We consider you family." Most don't really mean it, but at Aperion they do. The owners have created a great work culture and are always striving to do more. There is a big emphasis on training so you can do your job better. It is an environment of trust and empowerment.

Cons
