Pros

I learned a lot about the type of person I do not want to be.

Cons

The culture actively encourages demeaning residents. Lots of backstabbing and lying going on here. Resident complaints are deliberately kept from the HOA boards so Aperion doesn't have to actually work to resolve the issue. HOAs are just a paycheck. Boards love Aperion because it seems like things are fine when Aperion keeps the truth hidden. Others have noted that this business is by nature challenging. No, it isn't if you put the residents first. Aperion just chooses not to.

Pros

The only benefit, if you make it out alive, is that you will know exactly what you shouldn't stand for.

Cons

This company caused so many people so much grief it's unbelievable. The 5 star reviews on here are written by the owner or her PR team, which is embarrassing. The reason of course being that the company treats their employees so badly that there's no way there would ever be a good review for working at this company. It's a shame. Working in the HOA industry can be difficult, similar to working many industries. There is nothing unique about that. But working in the HOA industry at Aperion is what has proven to be impossible. The constant toxic environment will put you in in therapy for sure.

Pros

I learned so much from smart, talented, resourceful colleagues who turned into lifelong friends. All of them deserve to work for companies that will appreciate their talents more than industrious ever will.

Cons

The owner is a cause of a lot of toxicity. If you are a slightly disagreeable person with a backbone and good moral character, you will hate it. His treatment of individuals can change quickly. Sometimes I felt he was oblivious, sometimes I felt he was aware but did not care. This company is absolutely ridiculous and no wonder they are losing properties. This place traumatized me, but for reasons of privacy and glassdoor policy, I have to stay vague.
