Pros

Flexibility. Lot of opportunities to improve upon technically and functionally Lot of scope for development of one's skills understanding mid level managers and leads. Very good place to start career as ample opportunities are provided for growth. Great team bonding

Cons

Changes policies at their whim No proper communication system. No to so confidence inspiring leadership team. Less scope for role progress in offshore if you are manager or above. Too much of overhead team which is not involved in delivery but cost huge as most of them are paid in USD pay scale. One of the few companies to have 10hr work day (includes 1hr break time) whereas norm is 9hr workday (including 1hr break). Different cycles for merit (Apr-Mar) and variable pay (Jan-Dec)

Very good place to work from my experience

Pros

This is the company where I was given an opportunity to openly share my views and I am really happy to work here, I have a great team above and below me :) who are open to listening and discussing our thoughts. Some of the great things at the office are as follows 1) Work from Home 2) Flexibility 3) Open discussion culture 4) Improvising things by taking input from Employees 5) Monthly Awards ( Rewards and Recognition) 6) Very good referral Bonus 7) 2 Months Notice Period which is very good compared to other companies 8) Innovation is considered as its a Service Based Company

Cons

They plan not to sack the people, because of which some times there will be deviations in hikes and bonuses, but in a way its far better than sacking people.

Pros

AST has a thriving public sector line of business, where they have mastered the art of selling and executing reasonably well. Reasonable talent.

Cons

I can only comment on the commercial business side. The project delivery is managed by multiple groups, no one group owns a project. There is COE group, Project Mgmt group and Sales teams. They bid aggressively to win, and their delivery team managed is full of old timers with not much of commercial enterprise experience. They plan and staff the project poorly, resulting in teams under lot of stress to deliver. In general, they are not able to utilize the opportunities they get from Oracle.

Pros

AST is benefitting from visionary thought leadership in our go to market strategy. Our leadership is very transparent in communicating direction and they enable the go to market team to deliver on our vision and direction with our customers and primary go to market partners. Additionally, AST has very fair compensation and flexibility in our scheduling.

None at this time, keep up the good work.
