Run away - this company will suck the life out of you

Pros

Compensation and benefits are average

Cons

Senior management is dysfunctional and decisions are often driven by personal relationships rather than what makes the most sense for the business. Who you know and how well you’re liked tends to matter more than performance. There is little interest in changing how things are done, even when current processes are clearly not working. The expectation for salaried employees to work long hours is common and largely accepted. This is not a great environment for growth or work-life balance. I would only recommend taking a role here if you are desperate for a job and have limited other options.

Pros

This company has no good things to say.

Cons

During my time here, I found the work environment to be very disorganized and stressful. Upper management had no clear plan for projects and frequently changed direction at the last minute. Employees were often called into unplanned meetings and told to follow sudden changes without explanation. The pay is very low compared to industry standards, and there is no compensation for overtime. Instead of hiring sufficient technicians, management often required salaried engineers to cover technician duties such as cleaning machines and even mopping floors. Weekends and evenings were expected to be worked without additional pay. The production leadership in particular contributed to a toxic culture. Managers sometimes used inappropriate language during meetings, punished employees for being only a few minutes late (even when meeting rooms were changed last minute), and even terminated staff for refusing to work unpaid overtime on weekends. Overall, the company promotes a toxic work culture that prioritizes management’s convenience over employee well-being. I would not recommend this company to professionals seeking fair pay, respect, or a healthy work environment.

Pros

1. Provides H-1B sponsorship, which is valuable for international employees. 2. Offers fast improvement in cross-team communication skills. 3. A good starting point to learn manufacturing/production processes, especially in wafer and transceiver areas. 4. The company is developing quickly and working with large clients. 5. Suitable for those who prefer structured tasks and don’t focus heavily on creative problem-solving.

Cons

1. Long working hours (often 60–90 hours per week) with no overtime pay, and a base salary below the market average. Bonuses are minimal relative to workload. 2. The company often sets unrealistic targets and deadlines, leading to delays and employee frustration. 3. Favoritism exists — relatives of management may face fewer responsibilities, which can create an unequal workload distribution. 4. Workplace culture issues, including unprofessional behavior and HR’s limited responsiveness in addressing employee concerns. 5. Work-life balance is poor, which makes it difficult to sustain in the long term.
