Pros

Decent and clean work place.

Cons

Rude Asian leaders. They just give you commands with no respect. They tease and insult you when you give some suggestions, if you don't have any title there. The management there built the worst culture I never seen from anywhere else. Employees there are hard to get along with. Superficially everybody looks friendly or at least good. Later on you will find the horrible truth. Your teammates bad mouth you all the time. I was not a fresh graduate and I knew politics is everywhere. However, I was still sad when I saw my colleagues didn't care about their work very much but only care about how to step on you...

Pros

1. Provides H-1B sponsorship, which is valuable for international employees. 2. Offers fast improvement in cross-team communication skills. 3. A good starting point to learn manufacturing/production processes, especially in wafer and transceiver areas. 4. The company is developing quickly and working with large clients. 5. Suitable for those who prefer structured tasks and don’t focus heavily on creative problem-solving.

Cons

1. Long working hours (often 60–90 hours per week) with no overtime pay, and a base salary below the market average. Bonuses are minimal relative to workload. 2. The company often sets unrealistic targets and deadlines, leading to delays and employee frustration. 3. Favoritism exists — relatives of management may face fewer responsibilities, which can create an unequal workload distribution. 4. Workplace culture issues, including unprofessional behavior and HR’s limited responsiveness in addressing employee concerns. 5. Work-life balance is poor, which makes it difficult to sustain in the long term.

Incompetent management and toxic culture

Pros

Trying to come up some but unable to

Cons

Incompetent management and toxic culture. Authoritarian management style with a strict caste system. Remember that your bosses are always right no matter how ignorant they are. If you are a new or lower rank employee, remember to keep your mouth shut. Otherwise you may be fired. Management don't solve problems but often get rid of the people who uncover the issue. If they have to pick somebody to blame, it is usually the employee with the lowest rank and fewest pay. Employees are generlaly underpaid and overworked. However, they are not rewarded based performance but by relationship. Don't expect promotion if you are not a Taiwanese or asslicker. There are good people but they either don't stay long or they don't get promoted.
