Good but boring

Pros

- Good work, get to learn a decent amount especially with the full access to plural sight - Lunch is good and prices are cheap

Cons

- Probably one of the most boring work campuses I've ever worked at. - that ties into the boring work culture - Pay can be better - more flexible schedules. If the weather is terrible outside and I want to work 2 days from home, let me. - transition over to laptops. Being able to work from atrium would be nice, or outside on the patio when the weather is nice

Pros

- Good coworkers - Certain departments have a slightly more flexible telecommute policy - Semi casual work attire, meaning jeans are allowed and shorts and gym shoes every Friday (no t-shirts unless allowed on specific days) - Once a quarter, or so, small company functions - No fighting traffic in to, or out of Chicago (assuming you live in the south suburbs)

Cons

- Substandard pay (absurdly low in some instances) - Certain areas have management structures that are far too complex (this theoretically alows for carrer advancement, but so many of those positions seem to be filled from outside) - Because of the above, certain areas have high turnover rate

Pros

Great Internship experience, Lax schedule, top notch HR department, Industry standard practices, interesting work (for interns), fun company events (summer bbq, bagel Tuesdays, and other random promotions)

Cons

Company tries to bring on entry-level developers well below market value (<$60K), very dull work (for full-time developers), tech debt on main company products, full-time developers did not seem to enjoy their jobs
