Thank you for your feedback - we're sorry you aren't getting enough hours; if you're looking for more hours we do encourage you to reach out to our Support Coordinator if you're interested in matching with other families, as we have many clients looking for a great and caring Habilitator. Just call our main line to speak to someone about another match!

Pros

I really enjoy the environment of the workplace. Always very upbeat and light hearted. I enjoy all the extras that we do for our families such as the holiday parties and the coordination of sporting teams to receive tickets. I also feel that the upper management is willing to be flexible when needed.

Cons

I feel like the processes are never solidified and we are constantly told to change. I know growth is an organic process and things come about but it seems like as soon as we find a process it is already being changed. Hard to keep up.

We really appreciate your feedback! AZA values transparency and active communication, and we strive to provide as much information to our staff as possible. We’re experiencing a time of rapid change both internally (focused on growth and expansion) and externally (at the Department of Developmental Disabilities as well as other funding agencies), which offers great opportunities but can also be stressful and confusing. Please always feel free to talk to a member of the leadership team if you have unanswered questions that are causing stress or pressure – we’ll do our best to address your concerns by providing any answers we can.

Great people; Great Mission

Pros

I feel like being able to "work your way up" at a company is becoming a thing of the past, but it is alive and well at AZA United! They have a terrific path for advancement. The mission attracted me to this organization, but the people I work with everyday make this my dream job. I have support and opportunities to learn and grow as I reach my fullest potential. If you have the grit and passion to help others and grow your own skills, you can do very well for yourself here!

Cons

Right now, the main office is located in Phoenix near the airport (but they do have plans for east valley and west valley locations soon). For your initial training, you will have to travel to the Phx location. AZA serves clients all over the valley, so depending on the role you are in, you should be prepared to do some driving, BUT, employees are compensated. If you organize your schedule correctly, it's not bad.
