Where to begin. Arrive does a great job of appealing to new grads who aren't really sure where to begin in their professional career. Let me be clear - anything a recruiter says or shows you during the interview process is a LIE. This is a terrible place to work and literally every single aspect of this job is toxic.
Management is disorganized and is not able to communicate effectively with their team. The constant changes in procedures felt as if there was no clear direction for the company/role. Every department would be told a different standard for a procedure, each department believed they were in the right.
There is a blatant lack of respect between departments. Grown men acting like children, talking down to their peers, screaming at other reps, slamming keyboard out of frustration. THIS IS NOT NORMAL!!
Many reps who have been at Arrive for a couple years truly believe they are untouchable - and for the most part, they are correct! Management will come up with any excuse to defend an arrogant reps behavior, it doesn't matter if people have had issues with certain reps and feel uncomfortable working with them. These reps are given special treatment and face zero repercussions for any of their actions/words.
There is a sad lack of work/life balance. Management seemed to be aware their employees were deeply unhappy but claimed they were unable to make any real changes. I had multiple round tables with other members of my department and our director where we discussed what we would appreciate at Arrive and it fell on deaf ears.
This is not a positive work environment. You are bombarded with negativity from the moment you walk into the building to the moment you leave. Bonuses are based on metrics that were completely out of our control. We did not receive commission on any loads, while some sales reps were making 3-4x our salary and we handled 90% of the day to day operations for the accounts. It felt like management continued to ask more of us with zero incentives.
Please, do not be fooled by this company. This is not a place you want to work. It is not worth it.
