Great if you're related

Pros

Flexibility for some employees when needed

Cons

Severe and grossly unapologetic displays of nepotism. Opportunities, perks and gifts lavished on only personal friends and family members of the owners and on the friends & family of their leaders (who are more often than not, their own family members). Most everyone is related to someone else working there. Doesn’t make for good business sense or fairness. No consistency in treatment of people. Case by case on promotions and punishments. Many over titled, under qualified or unqualified individuals making big decisions based purely on emotion and not on business logic or merit. Many in charge have never worked anywhere else ever so they see no harm or do not understand poor management tactics. Employees in good standing that resign, who are not juiced into the company by blood or friendship, are verbally slandered after their departure.

Nepotism

Pros

Pay and benefits arecompetitive. Growing company with opportunity to be promoted...however see below to learn more about how to be promoted.

Cons

Nepotism!!!! Everyone in upper management has family/friends working at the company. Some blatantly promote managers and VPs based on golf and personal relationships. If you take issue with it you COULD report it to HR. However members of the HR team are kin to upper management in operations.

Pros

It's a pest control company...And no one likes pests...

Cons

From what I've observed, specific members of the management team is, well, they're just so, unprofessional. Turn over will prevail if they don't get it together.
