Pros

ARUP pays the most to retirement than any employer I've ever seen the problem is they don't pay much to begin with and though they contribute 20% of salary/match since your salary is low it doesn't say much

Cons

No way your moving up in the company due to company politics. You must have 6 years of experience to be a supervisor. They do not account for education when they look at pay. And their pay wage increase is lower than industry average meaning year over year you will make less than working elsewhere. They also do a poor job at recognizing top performers.

Pros

ARUP has a fantastic health benefits package. This along with a free family clinic and low (for now) premium costs allows you to overlook a lot of what goes on "behind the scene".

Cons

If your career/life goals coincide with the goals of the company you can be very happy here but once your goals deviate to the smallest degree then you will see a totally different company.
