Pros

My direct supervisor was open and approachable. Always answered my questions honestly and supported me. Workload was consistent, and expectations were generally clear day-to-day. Co-workers were friendly and supportive (out of a team of 5, including myself).

Cons

Very little room for internal mobility or growth. Learning opportunities were abundant, but minimal opportunities to actively practice new skills in appropriate roles. Extremely detail-sensitive work with a merit-based pay system — room for error was minimal and had a substantial impact on the merit based pay system. Lack of official structured operational documentation prior to, and especially post-merger. My layoff was handled abruptly and without much consideration or warning.

Pros

The PTO is really good. Some of the other benefits are on par for the industry

Cons

Horrible management. The yearly raises are below average and don't keep up with the cost of living, majority of employees have second jobs. Lack of accountability as managers who are friends with folks under them they keep them around even with a plethora of evidence that they do little to no work.

Pros

Benefits (aside from health insurance) are pretty great. Up to 16 weeks maternity leave, fertility treatment assistance, mental health resources, and more. Truly a hybrid role, only having to go into the office min 1 day a week.

Cons

The company grew exponentially in the past 5 years and management couldn’t keep up. People are overworked asking questions of how to navigate and not getting clear direction. They laid off nearly a whole team only to have similar roles posted for hiring shortly after. Why not just realign roles?
