Not really any that I can think of.

Salaried employees are expected to work 60-70 hours for very little pay. I worked at corporate and in other locations. It's a boys club operating like it is 1980. Most directors and senior management have little to no education and have no idea how to run a business. Employees on the floor are treated like animals and are considered expendable. Management is constantly yelling and swearing at it's employees. You are asked to do the job of 3 people and then are yelled at when it isn't done. There is no work life balance. The things I was asked to do in HR were so illegal yet it came down from the CEO so my boss told me I had to do it. When I didn't, I was yelled at. This place is so shady and crooked it is sad. Do not work here! No wonder they can't find anyone to work for them.

I liked my boss, she was nice, and that is it..

Everything. The company stands for absolutely nothing substantial. Anybody who is "passionate" about furniture should go to college and get an education. The benefits are absolutely terrible, you can get better at a McDonalds or at Wal-Mart. The atmosphere feels like a funeral home in the corporate office. Nobody looks you in the eye, nobody is ever smiling, there is no feeling of life whatsoever. I worked at the corporate office for over one year and got one review (which was my "thirty day review" which I received after a year) and did not receive a raise. I was never sure when my coworkers were going to be at work, or if my boss was going on vacation. The only thing that is plentiful at Ashley Furniture is the lack of communication and negativity. It is by far the worst company I have ever worked for. Todd and Ron Wanek should also not push there extreme Republican beliefs on their employees and look down upon them for having a different opinion. Todd and Ron couldn't find their ass with both hands.

I've been with this company for 7 years! The company went from great to bad really quick thanks to DSG. Unrealistic sales goals and crazy numbers that have to reached to make any money at all. Salaries lowered and job description changed so the salary could be lowered. We ask many questions yet no one has the answers to them. They claim to be a "Christian" company but I see no Christian ethics. Their behavior is very cult like. They say trust us, but they haven't done anything to be trustworthy.
