Pros
You won't run out of work.
Cons
Meetings are scheduled via the CEO's admin catching a VP in the hallway and telling them, Todd wants to meet with you soon. Then the VP will try to read the CEO's mind about what the meeting is about. The analyst will be asked to do 24 hours worth of work in 3 hours, while 3 different VPs are calling the analyst every hour to ask if you you're done yet. Then the 3 VPs will all ask you to format the data a different way. They will refuse to come to a consensus among themselves and leave it to the analyst to decide which VPs to make happy and which to disappoint. Then the meeting with the CEO will happen and it turns out nothing you prepared was what the CEO wanted anyway. Then they'll ask why your other work didn't get done while you spent 3 days putting together information no one wanted because the CEO won't just tell the VPs what he wants to talk about. Then you'll spend 3 months working on the issue de jour while management ignores all the other metrics, leading to the next issue de jour.
