No Job Security; Rapidly Replacing Roles with AI

Pros

Work from home flexibility and benefits are comprehensive (even though they’re expensive).

Cons

Aspirion has “reduced” its staff by half over the past few months. It’s replacing the role with its barely functioning AI appeal writing software. Even though it’s laying off people left and right, Aspirion requires a 1-year non-compete to be signed, keeping the employees it’s laying off from finding work even though it has no use for them any longer.

Work life balance is good.

Cons

Pay is abysmal. Benefits have been cut. No longer paying overtime. Aspirion has now required that every attorney (even associates) sign an absurdly broad NDA and Non-Compete as well as a release from liability. Many of their attorneys are leaving to a competitor and their response has been to pay less AND try to restrict re-employment for one year after you leave this company. I would avoid at all costs.
