The company's priorities sometimes result in a test of your personal values as you sometimes have to lie to clients when their projects are severely behind (with no plan in place to catch up).
Everyone is under pressure caused by unrealistic customer expectations provided by executive leadership, BDs and sales. Be prepared to work late nights, early mornings, weekends, whatever you need to to make that client happy. Direct leadership WANTS to be there for their team, but they are all busy fighting fires with angry clients to really be there for you. Most client projects are on fire, so when they say limited resources, they meant it. They've let go of some good people because this environment isn't set up for new hire success, and I honestly think it's mostly luck that will get you through.
