Pros

Good location and pto is at market level

Cons

Sr leadership is the problem in this organization. No real accountability and nothing is resolved. Promote and increase salary of people because they threaten to leave or they are in close with the owners. So many managers and directors that should not be here and everyone knows it but CTO wont do anything about it. It's sad really awesome mission but failure in leadership to scale this

Pros

The best part of working at AssistRx would be the ability to learn new skills and take opportunities you would not otherwise get to experience. If you have drive and passion (and a good manager...spoiler alert, there aren't many) then you can advance fairly quickly. Everything comes at a cost though, be prepared to move into roles that you will never be paid for. The company has this idea that "we are helping you" and never that you earned it.

Cons

Freedom is probably one of the biggest cons for me. A year or two ago this would have been a positive but now I have to list it as a con. The freedom itself is fun and all but it comes at an expense. The only reason there is so much freedom (or the illusion of it) is because of a lack of management skill. The company promotes whoever they need to give the biggest pay raise to resulting in management that are oblivious to the world around them. Management is also extremely cold, all the way up to HR. You are just a cog in the machine and there is never a personal touch to any activity at the company. They bribe you with food and alcohol to make you think that they care when ultimately they have no respect for you or the job you do. If you do plan to work at Arx, move to Kansas, OPK is the only sector that the company wants to invest in anymore. With the company moving to a big corporate feel, opinions and ideas are looked down upon. If you are a "yes man" then this is the job for you.

Pros

Cool co-workers that help each other. Nice office with big windows and pretty lake. Snacks? HA!! you can get those yourself and bring them from home. Beer? if you really need it while you are at work you have an alcohol issue!

Cons

1.CTO - BIG fake politician who has to like you to help you succeed. Doesn't care about employee's value and is ok with letting people go and see them quit even after YEARS of loyalty to the company and the owners. 2. You will become "important" if you don't have a life, be prepared to be promoted if you work 24/7 and reply to emails at 2 AM. 3. Managers who don't have a clue about what they are doing (QA, for example). 4. Employees that remain for years and years just because they are "cool" but don't do work.
