      Pros

      Really good engineers, great culture of teaching/learning (within and across disciplines), relaxed atmosphere, exciting mission with really high impact, good food!

      Cons

      Hardware is hard. Hardware in Geosynchronous orbit is REALLY hard

      Pros

      You get to work on extremely challenging problems with incredibly talented people who somehow are also fun to be around and a delight to work with. Cannot recommend Astranis enough, I sincerely love my job here. Since it's a small company you get a chance to work with people across multiple teams, and you get to have a lot of responsibility and ownership of what you're working on right off the bat. Despite this, I've never really felt very stressed because of the technical competence and dedication of my coworkers; I always know they have my back. 12/10.

      Cons

      Honestly can't think of any. People usually say work life balance sucks for startups but somehow that's not true at Astranis.

      Pros

      -Work with a crack team of intelligent engineers -Tackle difficult problems at all levels of abstractions - systems engineering down to biasing a transistor. -Multidisciplinary in the truest sense. Your job passively pushes you into learning other engineering fields. -Really cool people. Friendliest work environment I've ever seen. -They have a band. -Chocolate covered almonds and dried mangos on demand.

      Cons

      -If you care about the work, you take ownership of things. When you take ownership of things, you find out just how much work there is. Problem is, you care, so you just do the work. -Difficult for any one person to wrap their head around the whole system. Can be difficult to stay on top of all the rapid developments.
