Pros

Flexible hours: I'm my experience management was very good at working around dates you couldn't work. Residents are kind. For the most part waitstaff are lovely and there is a sense of community.

Cons

Constantly changing yet unspecified expectations. No respect from superiors. Workplace gossip. Until recently failed to provide proper tools for safely working during lockdown.

Pros

Part of a large successful REIT from USA. Great physical buildings thanks to Holiday Retirement models.

Cons

Probably the only Retirement company with communities across the country but not a single person at regional or national level ever worked in a Retirement Facility in any operational capacity. Complete lack of any trust worthy relationship at all levels and a deliberate practise of coercive and divisive politics by the senior regional management in operational environment. No wonder the turnover at community management level is extremely high and will remain this way.
