Great environment and people I work with, hard to advance.

Pros

Great people to work with, very fair. I've moved up from being a pharmacy tech to a home infusion coordinator, it took me about 3 years to do this, most employees do not advance above their current position as every one is specifically trained for certain skill sets.

Cons

Lack of opportunity for advancement within the branch that I currently work for. I would have to leave to advance my career.

Cons

Health risks coming in contact with pt who have cancer treatment, MRSA, VRE and flu.

Flexibility and Stability. As a PRN employee you can decide where and when you want to work. Perfect for working parents and students.

Cons

The pay is much less than other hospitals/agencies. Travelers make double to triple the amount. Which is basically what a float nurse does.
