      Pros

      Second largest healthcare system in USA. Many options at multiple sites. The culture of the physicians, Advance Practice teams, and RNs is excellent.

      Cons

      Administration is only interested in making a profit. Will cut back on everything and that includes areas of direct patient care! HR department is a nightmare! Environmental services is contracted out and is poor quality - and they wonder why MDRO, MRSA, CDIFF, are a problem?

      Pros

      Market competitive salary and retirement package.

      Cons

      physicians are treated extremely poorly. Physician leadership are figure heads that are unable to contribute to decision-making which is entirely administrative. There is significant favoritism demonstrated with only a select few physicians having any voice at all. Volume and time demands are unreasonable creating physician dissatisfaction which is demonstrated on their annual survey but you'll never know that because they hide the results. Who wants to see a physician who hates his/her job and the company they work for? Not me.

      No layoffs, pretty stable company Many available positions 1600+

      Cons

      $1500 annual tuition reimbursement - what do you do with that? No more copays for medical - deductible only Pension plan is no longer a benefit Hospital leadership/ nurses overworked and facing many challenges
