Pros

I was part of an existing portfolio that was taken over by Atrium with a bunch of hotels at once. Initially, you could tell this was too much for them but over the past few months I can see that they've really gotten their act together. We're starting to see new tools (a lot of new tools!!) being implemented which I can tell will make us better. I think as the company continues to mature it will be a great place to work! I'm excited!

Cons

Aside from the initial floundering, there really isn't anything that I can see. It seems like a lot of the VP's and above are "first timers" at their jobs. All of the VP's of Sales are new in their roles and none have worked in hotels as big as most of ours now but I think everyone is learning their new roles well and in time this can be a great company!

Pros

My coworkers are the only positive aspect of my job.

Cons

The pay is horrible for non-management level employees, especially guest service agents. There is little to no opportunity for growth or raises. There is no reward for going above and beyond my job duties. I feel that upper management doesn't understand the problems we deal with and sees no desire to change the issues that are constantly pointed out to them.
