I've been made to feel very welcome to this company as a new member of the UX team. I've been made aware of my value through good communication and appraisals. There certainly seems like there is a lot of room to grow and a lot to learn. Moreover, the company as a whole takes a proactive approach to improve itself.

Cons

Management of some systems and tools used for day-to-day work still seem to be suffering from teething problems. Obviously, as a result of the pandemic, many things need to be accessed remotely. On the whole, it is fine, however, the file system isn't very well organised or accessible and some licenses for tools that I would expect to be using have been a bit slow in obtaining.

Pros

Everyone has been really friendly and welcoming. My manager is very supportive and encouraging. They've recently made a few positive changes to policies following feedback from employees, which seem to be focused on creating a better work-life balance. They have very flexible working e.g working from home.

Cons

Salary could be a little better.
