Pros
Big company with a lot of room for growth and potential for new opportunities
Cons
Their internal management and process is a complete mess! The invested amount of money for a project platform to account for finances, resourcing, other data is awful. The amount of time and stress trying to fix the database/platform issues is absurd. Then the lack of the database gaps and issues from the board, account leadership and other team members not in it, is troubling. The accusatory tone VPs take with junior team members why there are issues is completely unprofessional and demoralizing to say the least. The lack of oversight on the need for more resources is ridiculous. We drown with work, our shared teams cannot produce work and then told "the forecasting is not there" completely awful. The transatlantic mentality to beef up areas of expertise in the UK or the US cause for project deliverables and many resourcing issues. How do you tell a client that "can't service you at all in the US afternoon". When this is brought up, met with an "oh well". The compensation for some positions is very antiquated and should look to increase given the charge out rates to clients. SLT members need to act upon hearing on issues with employees and not brushing under the rug. A very jaded sense to let things slide for under performers so set higher expectations for the overperformers causing major burnout. The comp/lieu time process is very disappointing. Some line managers grant the stated HR process of the equivalent time off, other managers take it upon themselves to interpret what their direct report will get. It is a very unbalanced system. Some higher ups do not offer the flexibility of work/life balance at all. Then on top of it, you move mountains to do work and the bonus structure is basically nonexistent. Perhaps investing in current employees instead of acquiring new businesses that takes years to integrate would be an idea?
