A good company becoming a great company
Pros
Axcient's most recent product release is beginning to gain traction in the market. This has allowed the team to stay busier than ever before and has created a positive energy in the Austin sales office. The company has treated performing sales people very well. In addition, senior management and our CEO have gone to great lengths to ensure that valued employees have a voice in the company and are retained. In at least one instance, a top performing sales person who left Axcient has decided to return and was welcomed with open arms.
Cons
Like any sales organization, there are performers and there is everyone else. It has been frustrating to watch so many negative reviews of the company written by people who were released for non-performance or, most recently, by someone who spent most of his time trying to get a promotion he was not qualified for. Like many companies, Axcient has had ups and downs. The executive team has taken steps to ensure that our product works very well, our customers have a successful experience and our technology is better than our competitors.
