      Long Interview Process but Worth the Effort

      Pros

      They work very hard to vet potential contractors to work virtually as admins, assistants, bookkeepers, etc. When they've chosen you as a contractor for their repertoire, congratulations, because you're someone they see as valuable and bringing something to the table. They offer great flexibility to those who need a stay at home work environment. They put a lot of effort into placing clients and contractors based on a multitude of factors, and it really helps make work enjoyable for everyone involved.

      Cons

      Multi-stage interview process. It was about 6 weeks from application to hire. It can take weeks to get placed with a client. The pay is decent, but not necessarily comparative with all markets.

      Great 3rd Option

      Pros

      Being able to set your own hours for the most part Assigned to people in a wide variety of industries, so the challenge keeps you growing Working from home Probably one of the only virtual assistant companies that does its best to protect and serve its contractors

      Cons

      Can sometimes take a while to get new clients Different clients have different expectations and you might not be everyone's cup of tea Hard to broach the subject of pay raises, and whether that's something they offer, or if you're stuck at your starting salary forever

      Pros

      As a mom & wife, both my family and job are important to me, and MAG Bookkeeping allows me to be able to work from home with flexible hours while taking care of my family. What more could I ask? And it's even more than that, MAG Bookkeeping provide services to help churches, so while working, it gives me a great mean to my life to serve God by helping these churches. That is why MAG Bookeeping is an awesome company!!!
