      Pros

      BELAY is a great company all around. The mission, vision, and values of this company speak for themselves. BELAY really displays its passion to serve clients and contractors through everything they do. The people who make up BELAY are the real stars. I'm so lucky to work with some of the best people who deeply care about one another and who collaborate and lean on each other well. The team has fun but works hard! The work-life balance is also a huge perk. There is no expectation to work outside of normal business hours. My night and weekends are held sacred by my manager and coworkers. I have a life outside of my job and I never feel bad about upholding that boundary!

      Cons

      Even though BELAY has a lot of amazing aspects, just like every other company BELAY has its flaws and imperfections. BELAY has an unofficial saying "build the plane as we fly it", although I enjoy the can-do attitude and willingness to jump feet first, I've seen this end badly most of the time. This norm has created undue stress and chaos that could have been prevented if management took the time to be strategic in their approach rather than reactionary. I've seen many of my coworkers dismissed when they advocate for a more strategic approach. I'm hoping the management team will continue to grow in this area. The pay at BELAY is also not the greatest. To really increase your base salary you need to be promoted. Unfortunately, the bonuses are not substantial either.

      Overall good company, being a contractor is just hard.

      Cons

      Pay is baseline so it is hard when things like inflation happen Clients aren’t great, don’t seem to vet the clients in the same way they do the contractors

      - 100 % Remote - Work/life balance & personal wellness encouraged - Quarterly in-person events & assigned virtual "buddies" to connect with - PTO, VTO, Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage Offered - Truly represents their value system of God, Team, Fun, Passion, Gratitude & Vision - No one is a stranger here at BELAY. This is more than a team that communicates. Rather, it is one who intentionally connects. - My favorite thing about working with BELAY is their relentless pursuit and desire to put God first in all things. Through prayer, discussions & sharing life with one another - this is not just another "company." This is a unified team that rejoices & mourns together through all things. - One of the vital lessons I've learned here at BELAY is to normalize conversations focusing on feedback and address the "elephant in the room." There will always be conflict - it's about how we address, communicate, and move through it together. Feedback is simply an opportunity to become the best YOU, so we can become a better WE. BELAY's culture embraces failure as an opportunity to grow.

      - Training is a bit of information overload, but manageable. Might need to be updated as we continue to grow & change.
