Pros

Very lenient and flexible with school schedules.

Cons

No room for growth, little to no structure, always short staffed but cut hours, pay is different for everyone regardless of position, pay is not very good, lack communication or consistency.

Pros

VERY flexible with scheduling; which is much appreciated. If you ever have some sort of complaint or concern the supervisors are all ears and willing to help or make a difference as long as you bring it up. (they don't always see or hear everything). The work environment is good. Coworkers work as a team in treatment and in the high stress environment. Rarely do you work and feel unsafe. Most of the permanent staff are very knowledgeable and everyone should lead by example!

Cons

High turn over rate. Many of the great staff have no incentive to stay. Mostly if not everyone feels over worked and understaffed. RNs do a lot of paperwork and all my hand because there's no electronic system. People stay until they find a better job offer or use this job as a 2nd job. New staff is often inexperienced (especially floor staff). They'll hire anyone sometimes. The ones who suffer are both patients and staff. Training should be better. Some staff believe coming to work is a fun time to hang out with coworker.
