      Pros

      Good banter of workers in office Wonderful coworkers Great benefits Interesting work I'm filling up space here since I'm having a hard time thinking of what else

      Cons

      Management is rude, dismissive, and headless. There's no direction or initiative to invest in their employees. The extra star is only for the office. Consistently understaffed and overworked. Just because your staff can provide results doesn't mean it's sustainable in the long term to pile so much work onto them. If could keep the job but double the number of my team, and never need to speak to management again, this would be the perfect job for me. I could not, and thus I did not.

      Pros

      BSI has some really smart and good people. A few good managers. PTO is okay after 4 years.

      Cons

      They promote who they like and make the rest jump through hoops. They promote people into manager positions that are not people persons and should NEVER be managing people. Career paths are limited. If you want to work lots of hours for below market value compensation then this is the place to be. They talk about work life balance but management doesn't demonstrate it and if you try to adhere to it your career opportunities will be limited. If you are not part of the "in crowd" don't plan on moving up very quickly in the organization.
