Pros

BTS is a tight knit company, full of experienced people who are more than willing to support other analysts in finding them a career in the intelligence community outside of the DOD.

Cons

Since I have only been at the company a short while, I do not have any real cons to contribute right now.

We appreciate your comment. We do definitely do our best to use our experience and networks to get all of our people to the next place they want to be in life weather that is with us or not. We do not throw our people to the wind when they leave a contract. We value the relationship we build while you are here and want people to always feel supported.

Pros

Very good benefits, management that cares about employees, significant growth currently happening and anticipated to continue to occur. Unlimited opportunities to develop as an engineer and work in areas that you are most interested.

Cons

Some contracts seem to lack a bit of support from the requestor's side even though development team continue to deliver features on time to meet requirements. This means that even very good work can basically just be until the end of the contract instead of growing into larger contracts which is tough when we take such pride in what we do.

We are glad that we are providing opportunities to work with the technologies that you are interested in, and are providing opportunities to develop. We are always actively trying to expand our contracts and access to new projects and we expect that to be happening soon. Unfortunately as contractors, it is hard to pressure your customers to do more when you want, but be assured that we are always looking for new/more customers!

Pros

I've been working for BTS Software solutions as a deployed contractor for less than a year and have had nothing but positive experiences. They are a small and innovative company with continuing growth. They offer very a generous benefit package, and care about the well-being of their employees. I have had the pleasure to meet the CEO, David Tohn and the Chief Revenue Officer, Thomas Bohne who took the new recruits out to lunch in Maryland, and it was a pleasure to hear them talk about various exciting projects that BTS was involved in, as well as acknowledged our career goals, and planned to do everything they can to help support that. If I had any issues, they were very quick to respond and do everything they can to help to solve any problems.

Cons

Due to BAE losing the CIAT Contract to CACI, there has been some confusion by contractors working overseas in regards to the future of the contract. It’s best to initially be up front with employees about the potential rebidding of the contract, to avoid any confusion.

We are very happy that you are happy with the support and compensation/benefits package we provided/put together. We make it a point to meet every person that deploys with us. We know that contract transitions can be confusing but we at are making sure that BTS people will be there supporting AFG for years to come, so please don't work. Also, we are working hard to make sure we communicate often and effectively to the team so everyone knows that we will be ok as a team. Don't get caught up in the RUMINT that is like wildfire during these time. As always, you or any of our teammates and call us at anytime to talk through any concerns.
