Pros

Excellent Compensation, Great Benefits, Good People

Cons

With most of the people are off-site and it can be very easy to lose track of the company's overall business goals as well as making it easy for management to lose track of the specific day to day issues of the employees.

Thank you for your input. We agree that communication is key! With so many people working off site we do out best to try and hold quarterly "state of the union" happy hours with our people to keep everyone in the loop. We are always looking for ways to improve. If you have any suggestions on how we could better our communications process please feel free to reach out.

Pros

1. Small company that is able to dedicate more one - on - one time with employees. 2. Consistent communication. 3. Easy to reach out to. 4. Quick to find solutions to any problems. 5. After talking with many other people on different subs, I find BTS' benefits to be far superior. 6. Leadership made extra effort to meet me, take me to dinner and drinks with their family, get to know me etc. which really provided that extra "warm and fuzzy" I know the people on the Prime are missing from their leadership. You aren't just a number with BTS. 7. Unrelated to the contract, I really love all the different philanthropic endeavors BTS involves themselves with. I encourage a bit of reading up on this.

Cons

1. Smaller company and therefore unable to offer the same level of monetary compensation as a larger company, or Prime on a contract. (Though they do their best to make up for it in smaller benefits BAE and other companies don't offer, that make a surprising difference. Think: I didn't have to buy plane tickets anywhere, paid vacation part of benefits, etc) 2. Paid monthly on CIAT program. Typically wouldn't … be a huge issue, except at beginning. For instance: the pay period is the 16th - 15th and you are paid monthly, on the 1st. I started my in processing in Virginia on the 14th of August. Which meant my pay period ended two days later, and my first paycheck, on Sep 1st, was only for two days. I won't get paid again until October 1st (which will be half the stipend for the US, and half my deployed pay.) My first FULL salary paycheck won't be until November 1st. Again, not a HUGE issue, but definitely takes an extra level of planning and care on this pay schedule, at least at the beginning.

We appreciate your feedback, we make an extra effort to make sure that we are offering the best benefits we can and go out of our way to ensure people know they are a part of the team. It is also good to know that our efforts in the community is something that our people value. We believe that when you look at the TOTAL compensation we offer that our employees make out better in the end because the extra money that other companies offer in leiu of benefits is taxed, and then you have to pay for these things anyway, with us it is treated as tax free. We understand that being paid monthly is a challenge and can require some planning, but we do insure that we have solutions in place for any of our people who need assistance. I would note that this is they pay schedule for the entire company not just our deployers. We are always looking for more feedback, so please let us know if you can think of any other ways to make our program better!

Pros

A pro to working with BTS that I've noticed is that the amount of assistance you can receive and almost any given moment. I've received numerous assistance on different topics. I have never been dissatisfied. Also I would consider the salary as being a pro as well.

Cons

One of the only cons I can think of is the pay periods. Instead of being paid bi-weekly, you are paid once a month. But, that's not too big as issue.

We understand that everyone needs assistance at some point and we are happy that we could and can be there for you. We do understand that being paid once a month requires some planning for the first pay cycle, so we certainly have assistance in place to minimize the impact of this.
