Opprotunity without compensation

Pros

Interesting work with a variety of customers. A great team environment that creates a family feeling. Decent benefits. Good travel opportunities.

Cons

The company is increasingly expecting more and more out of their employees as they win more and more programs without adjusting compensation. It seems to take a job offer in hand from another company to have any mobility. Several employees are expected to do way more than their what their job title would lead them to believe when accepting a job offer. The entire security department has a negative vibe and overall sense of being discontent (toxic environment). Managers have been on a hiring craze that has brought in numbers without checking for quality. Several people are brought in at job levels that are not justified by on the job capability/experience. Management values a degree more than someone who gets the job done and satisfies customer requirements.

Poor Leadership/Managers

Business Outlook

Pros

Great technology and worker bee's.

Cons

Many of the managers are condescending and are too self important. CEO needs to step down as he creates a confrontational environment. Many are just plain mean-spirited and once on bad side never can get off.

Pros

Flexible work schedule and work from home opportunities.

Cons

The most horrible company to work for as a female engineer. This company violates all the employment laws and promotes a toxic workplace environment. Management and HR encourage and promote a culture of abuse, harassment, discrimination and retaliation against female employees. Misogyny, racism, intimidation, backstabbing, bullying, shaming, scapegoating employees by management are standard and common business practices. Incompetent, unprofessional, unethical, dishonest managers and matrix managers, part of the same religious cult, ignore all the company's policies and use the performance reviews to frame and discriminate against employees. Unqualified, abusive, stubborn, insecure project engineers with mechanical engineering background and no coding experience are assigned to software projects. Mediocre engineers with history of abuse are promoted as chief engineers because of their family connections in the company. EMPLOYEES BE AWARE: all ethics complaints filed through the company's ethics website go to HR. Basically, the website is used by HR as an effective tool for maliciously targeting the employees. If you encounter any type of discrimination, abuse, harassment, don’t hesitate to also contact law enforcement agencies like OFCCP, CCRD, EOCC, etc. Get familiar with the employment laws and stand up for your legal rights. Always post your negative experience for others to see. Don’t expect that HR or management would solve your problems. They won’t. They will only conduct "investigations" to damage your reputation and to make sure you don’t have legal claims against the company.
