Pros

At this point, there are not many pros to working at any Ballad Health facility.

Cons

Decreasing pay, no longer receiving critical care pay for working in ER or ICU, extremely short staffed most shifts. The people in management positions are frequently changing. No cohesion.

Pros

Loved helping the patients

Cons

Everything else..pay was a joke in non-medical departments and has gotten even worse. I was doing jobs that experienced techs and nurses should have been doing with no extra pay for it. Horrible co worker because everyone hated their job. Very low moral. witnessed bad patient care that bordered on abuse. CEOs were getting their fat bonuses and did not care about the staff unless you were in upper management. Merger created a monopoly that will eventually devastate this town and surrounding communities.
