Pros

The former dev team, former designers, and project managers were very kind and great to work with. Good people. The CTO is amazing to work with and has a lot of good ideas. He was always very pationate about what he was working on and was a great mentor. The CEO is a smart & kind guy and is very driven. He is not afraid to jump into the “weeds” and learn what he needs to learn. The company did Christmas events and dinners and get seats for each department to talk strategy. The company did a lot of lunches in the very early stages and am grateful for these fun events. The company paid for my phone

Cons

Leadership is completely lost and has 0 direction on where they want to go. They have a lot of ideas but too many. They lack the purpose of the entire product on what it can accomplish. The codebase is… everywhere. You can thank me and the other 10 guys who “had ideas”. In my time there was a lot of demeaning going on in our department. I had seen many waves of “funding” and promises of no lay offs. Over the years I slowly saw and heard many names of people I knew let go. The company values are pointless. They mean nothing and will kick you to the curb at any moment. “Family”

Clueless Leadership Team

Pros

I wanted to like this company BUT…

Cons

The issues with a stagnant product are ones the CEO, who is extremely attached to his invention, won’t face. His only path to a future is through innovation with new products and better focus or reselling other companies’ products. The intelligent, but UTTERLY CLUELESS leadership team is propelled by unearned “VP” and “Director” titles granted freely to young, green people who have zero real world or business experience. The haphazard, chaotic and hivemind way they comically try to forge ahead despite all signs they should change directions, speaks to how poorly the company is run. It’s an “oh look, squirrel” mentality of allocating funds, and they repeatedly fail miserably. They spend a couple months trying to tap new markets and quit before those markets have time to take, I credit them for their fighting nature in a hopelessly misguided endeavor. The captain of the ship and his crewmates have no clue how to run a business (hence all the layoffs year after year). This whole company is a HUGE RED FLAG. This product is DEAD and the entire leadership team can’t seem to admit it. If they could, they could expand their product line, resell other companies’ products and have a chance at a future. But they won’t. They keep spinning their inexperienced wheels, each time hoping for a different result. It’s insanity.
