Pros

- The people and culture are outstanding (you really feel like you are part of one big team) - Always growing and coming up with new and exciting solutions for customers - The benefits are great (free health and dental insurance, 90 minute lunches) - Promote from within & you can really explore different career paths at Bandwidth if you want to move around - Brand new campus opening summer 2023 with an on-site Childcare Center, event center, sports fields and walking trails

Cons

- CEO just announced going back to office 5 days a week, which may not work for employees’ lifestyles - With a growing company comes growing pains - Voxbone integration isn’t fully integrated yet and customers are waiting for that

Bandwidth Response

Thank you for your review. Bandwidth has been dedicated to working together in person for the last 23 years. Most recently, we have been publicly building a brand-new campus in Raleigh to support our unique, thriving, in-person culture. Our commitment to doing meaningful work while having a full, flexible life is evident in the new campus's central location, state-of-the-art offices, onsite Montessori school, fully equipped fitness center with indoor basketball courts, and rustic gathering place barn and amphitheater. We are excited about our upcoming move-in date in the summer of 2023. Our focus on our culture has driven almost a quarter century of growth serving our global customers. Throughout the last two and a half years, we have been clear and open about being committed to returning to full-time, in-person work here and at our new campus, and are excited to be bringing everyone back. There are other great companies that will offer hybrid and remote opportunities, but at Bandwidth we have never wavered from remaining in person. We believe we are in good company.

Pros

Focuses on family, health, and well-being. Regular open dialog with C-level executives. Company events and challenges. Lunch exercise policy nice.

Cons

Feel pain as development and engineering is 4-6 years behind the curve. Teams work in silos with variable forecast of prioritized work. Teams reinvent the wheel unnecessarily. Project and task management is all over the place and inconsistent. Difficult to innovate how work is done. Work feels rushed all the time and cutting corners. Don't feel as if professionally invested in. No avenues to socialize outside of going to gym. Lack of building space prevents teams from working together or having recreational space. Got rid of ping pong and foosball because annoyance to management.
