Banfield Pet Hospital reviews

The corporate office is EXTREMELY political...what's worse is that the HR leadership team is only looking after their own self interests (which is obvious about lack of substance in our meetings....all about the image and dictates what we should share on social). They talk about great culture, but it's very top down culture here. Gorgeous office but it's 1.5-2 hours away from Portland (with traffic)

High stress! (If you don't do well in stressful situations it is NOT for you) Too many pets in a single day negatively impact the quality of medicine (sometimes my doctors do not remember pets from the SAME day) High (albeit understandable) pressure to sign pets up on Wellness Plans Sometimes unreliable coworkers (not unusual for someone to call out) Especially for full-time workers -- requires a very open schedule For full time: sometimes depending on the time of the year it can be difficult to hit 30 hours/week Some hospitals are VERY cliquish (especially if you're female... not a big issue for males) Some management (shift leads/practice managers) are very political and/or demeaning depending on the hospital you work at [though this is true for almost every field of work]
