Great benefits, long term employees, nice facility

Cons

Always short staffed, they open renovated units and make them bigger yet they don't add enough staff to maintain patient care at a high level. Nurses are always overburdened, mistakes can easily be made. Mgmt aims for productivity above 100%. Great for them, impossible for the staff.

Cons

Inability to listen and learn. No tuition reimbursement for employees not designated nurses.Despite many surveys to determine the employee opinions ;never are they implemented.

Cons

Baystate has off site parking with crowded bus commutes can increase the time to get to work by nearly 20 min. Poor education is provided for nursing staff.
