Pros

Offices located all over the country (so if you relocate, you could potentially transfer), people generally like working there, and if you work really hard, it can pay off.

Cons

Lack of consistency between offices, no formal company-wide training (although they are working to change that), some of the middle-management needs some help, or needs to change.

Pros

Beacon Hill is by far the best company I have worked for hands down. The senior leadership of the firm truly cares about the growth and development of their employees and constantly puts resources around each person to ensure their success. I have been in staffing for 15 years and I can honestly say my time at Beacon Hill has been my favorite. There is no doubt that this is where I will be for the remainder of my career. Not only is the leadership and vision of our firm strong, but the day to day collaborative team environment is something that stands apart from all the rest. We work hard, but we enjoy time with each other, whether it is popping out to take an exercise class together or coming together on Friday afternoons for beers in the bullpen. We are always working hard and having fun while doing it.

Cons

This job is rewarding and exciting, but certainly not a 9 – 5 type of role. You have to be open to working hard and being available when clients and candidates need you and that can be any hour day or night. I think when I first started in the job it took some getting used to, but now that I have been in the business for 15 years, I appreciate the mentality of the harder you work and the more you give the more reward there is at the end of the day which makes me see the positive in it all.
